The Queensland Turkish Community is a vibrant organisation dedicated to fostering connections among individuals with Turkish heritage or a passion for Türkiye living in the Queensland state. Our mission is to unite long- standing Turkish residents of the state, commemorate official and national holidays, provide mutual support, and offer assistance to newcomers who have migrated to the region.
We were officially established as an association in September 2024,
although our activities and collaborations with community organisations began in the year 2000. The purpose of our association is to bring everyone together and promote, preserve, and pass on the contemporary Turkish culture to the next generations.
Our association is committed to promoting the modern and secular Turkish culture in line with the principles of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, without discrimination based on religion, language, race, or ideology, and we welcome members from all backgrounds and sectors of society.
